Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park
08:00am Breakfast at the hotel, you will check out and settle all extras. Have a scenic drive to Akagera National Park by our driver guide. Arrive at the North Gate, you will be handed over to the camp safari vehicle. Proceed to the camp, assisted with check in. Take a brief rest.
Lining the lakes are some of the continent’s densest concentrations of water birds, while the connecting marshes are the haunt of the endangered and exquisite papyrus gonolek, and the bizarre shoebill stork – the latter perhaps the most eagerly sought of all African birds.
The game drive in Akagera National Park provides you with the opportunity to view gentle hills blending beautifully with lowland swamps and water bodies. Akagera National park is a home for animals like elephant buffalo, Giraffe, zebra and more than a dozen types of antelope inhabit the park, most commonly the handsome chestnut-coated impala, but also the diminutive oribi and secretive bushbuck, as well as the ungainly tsessebe and the world’s largest antelope, the statuesque Cape eland.
Six spacious and airy tents offer uninterrupted views over Lake Rwanyakazinga, while Magashi’s main area comprises a luxurious lounge, dining and bar area, pool, and expansive viewing deck with a convivial fire pit. The architecture and interiors pay homage to traditional Rwandan culture.

Day 2: Full day Akagera National Park (Behind the scenes tour)
Breakfast at the camp, have a behind the scenes tour .This tour explains the key partnerships of the park including Law enforcement control room, patrol teams and canine unit ‘dog show. After game drive in Akagera National Park.
The game drive in Akagera National Park provides you with the opportunity to view gentle hills blending beautifully with lowland swamps and water bodies. You will visit the Giraffe area in the south and the lakes road up towards Birengero. Day 4: Akagera National Park – Kigali Out
Today after your breakfast, you will check out and settle extras enjoy a game viewing drive en route.
Exit the park and drive back to Kigali, arrival in time for lunch at Sole Luna Restaurant. Before getting transferred to the Airport for your out bound flight back home.
