Best months to enjoy a Sunset Boat safari on Lake Ihema

While these boat safaris are possible all year round, the best months are in the dry season- December to February and June to September when precipitation levels are lower. The best sunset views are enjoyed during the dry season because there is lesser humidity in the air and the skies are clearer thus creating the best sunset views. However, due to the effects of Global Warming and Climate Change, weather conditions tend to change, and therefore expect anything (including rains) can happen any time of the year.

Regardless of the season, evenings can become chilly on Lake Ihema hence always carry a warm sweater with you in addition to the camera and pair of binoculars.  Join us anytime for the year for a remarkable safari in Rwanda and discover the hidden treasures.
