The Boat, operated by Akagera Management Company starts from 4:30 – 6:00 pm with only phenomenal views of the Lake, the sunset, wildlife, and birds in the shortest time possible. While these boat safaris are possible all year round, the best months are in the dry season- December to February and June to September when precipitation levels are lower. The best sunset views are enjoyed during the dry season because there is lesser humidity in the air and the skies are clearer thus creating the best sunset views.
