In Akagera National Park, three pre scheduled boat safaris in the day very early in the morning, afternoon and sun set boat safari for visitors to enjoy the park. Park guides are available for hire from the park reception and will join visitors on their self-drives. The park guides are on a first come, first serve basis and so booking them is not necessary, unless for special groups such as school trips. Maps for self-drives are available at the reception upon arrival. An information Center to assist with activities is also available and can advise clients on which routes will be best for them
